there was so much i liked about this, but nothing got resolved as successfully as i would have liked. we flirted with some extreme kink. fisting and watersports, but it never came up again. learning that derek was a werewolf had no weight to it beyond explaining some of his sexual behavior. and i just really didnt enjoy that stiles is 16 and a virgin before he starts hooking and derek hires him ostensibly to protect him but it feels so incongruous with the way their relationship plays out. and i like power inmbalances and teen/adult romance. i dunno. i just wanted more in a lot of ways, even though the actual writing was very good and the characterization was on point. i liked this derek a lot. he felt like a weirdo autistic freak man, lol.
