aaaaaa, i have too many emotions about this one. i read it faster than i feel like i've ever read anything. this is the first stucky fic i've ever read and i feel like i might have made a mistake starting with what is probably the goat. reminds me in a way of twist & shout, but infinitely better. and also similar dynamics as an exaltation of larks. just so incredibly beautiful and poignant and also masterfully woven over the course of decades with so many wonderful little details and SO. MUCH. PAIN. i adore every single character from top to bottom. cried more than once. instant favorite. only wish there was some smut at the end, even if it didn't need it at all. "womb to tomb, sweetheart." WAUGHH
