dnf. i got through 3 or 4 chapter, whenever the first time they get off together is. the writing here just felt weirdly like the author was in high school despite some of the subject matter being more mature. i didn't know what to make of it, but ultimately the character voices being so young-sounding turned me off of this. also, shane kept having these really kind of catty/mean thoughts about the farmer and i found it very strange.
