Absolutely stunning. The language in this work is gorgeously evocative and there wasn't a single moment I didn't feel the heat of Egypt beating down on me as I read those sections. Beautifully told, artfully voiced. There is some miscommunication trope in this story, which is my least favorite thing in fic, *BUT* it's handled excellently and I wasn't even mad about it, so!
